Enriching Cultural and Historical Experiences – Museums and heritage sites utilize VR to recreate historical events, providing interactive learning experiences that bring the past to life.
Enhancing Accessibility – VR ensures inclusive travel experiences by allowing individuals with mobility restrictions to explore destinations virtually.
Elevating Marketing Strategies – Travel agencies leverage VR to create dynamic promotional content, captivating potential visitors and boosting tourism revenue.
A Real-World Example: InterTech’s Innovation
InterTech, a pioneer in VR technology, has revolutionized travel experiences through their immersive virtual tours. One of their standout projects is Church of the Holy Sepulchre VR-360
InterTech continued with this project its collaboration with Musa Afandi Interpretation Center to provide a comprehensive virtual tour inside one of Jerusalem’s holiest places: Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The walk-through tour has 14 stations, each highlighting a monument inside the church. Information hotspots were placed at various points to tell the story and history of the church and its monuments.
