Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Launches Smart QR Code System to Enhance Visitor Experience Across Palestine

Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has officially launched a cutting-edge QR Code System designed to enrich the visitor experience at key historical and cultural sites throughout Palestine.

This innovative digital solution enables tourists and locals alike to simply scan a QR code with their smartphones and instantly access rich, multilingual content — including detailed site histories, photos, videos, and interactive maps.

The system, developed entirely by InterTech for Web, Mobile, and XR Development, is part of a broader national effort to promote smart tourism, preserve cultural heritage, and harness technology to connect the past with the present.

“This initiative reflects our shared commitment to using digital innovation to make Palestinian heritage more accessible, engaging, and informative,” said InterTech representatives.

Special thanks were extended to the Ministry of Tourism and all contributing partners for their support in bringing this important project to life.

The QR Code System rollout marks a significant step forward in enhancing Palestine’s tourism infrastructure and delivering a modern, immersive experience to visitors from around the world.
