Launch of “Masrafi” App During 2025 Banking Week to Promote Financial Literacy Among Children and Youth

Ramallah – In a joint effort to enhance financial awareness among students across Palestine, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Palestinian Monetary Authority, and the Association of Banks in Palestine launched the 2025 Banking Week for Children and Youth with a special event held at Al-Quds Secondary School for Girls in Kafr Aqab. The initiative aims to introduce students to banking concepts and services in an engaging and educational manner.

This year’s Banking Week targets approximately 300,000 students from public, private, and UNRWA schools and includes a variety of awareness-raising activities. Among the key components is the interactive “Masrafi” mobile application, designed to gamify financial education through quizzes and games covering banking services. Participating students will have the opportunity to compete and win prizes by using the app.

The “Masrafi” app was developed by InterTech, marking the fifth release of the platform. The new version offers an upgraded, user-friendly experience, aligning with modern educational and technological standards to better engage young users.

Banking Week is part of an ongoing national strategy to instill financial literacy from an early age, equipping future generations with the knowledge and tools necessary for informed financial decision-making.
